John’s daughter, Mairi, suffers from autism. In 2005 John published his collection of poems, Wind Dancer. Autism, a father’s poems about caring for an autistic child. John has performed his poetry in many different venues to raise awareness about the problems faced by those caring for and suffering from Autism.
In a personal account, with poems and clips of stand up John tells us about his journey in this unique podcast.

You have discovered Purple Comedy. More of an experiment than a show. We bring together comedians from across Scotland to produce a show that contains sketches, stand up and anything else we can think of to produce something that we hope has worldwide appeal. We are interested in comedy from other cultures and if you think you are funny we would like to hear from you.
