John’s daughter, Mairi, suffers from autism. In 2005 John published his collection of poems, Wind Dancer. Autism, a father’s poems about caring for an autistic child. John has performed his poetry in many different venues to raise awareness about the problems faced by those caring for and suffering from Autism.
